Richard Manwaring, DDS
Dr. Richard Manwaring was born in Utah but also grew up living in Oregon and Arizona. After high school he began studying at Brigham Young University where he took a break to serve a two year mission for his church in Puerto Rico and then returned to earn a B.S. in Marriage, Family, and Human Development. During that time he gained some real life experience in the field as he met his wife Rachelle. Their family has grown to include four high-energy and fun children and there is never a dull moment at home!
After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Manwaring moved to sunny Los Angeles to attend dental school at UCLA where he graduated with honors in 2009. Following graduation, he practiced for several years in Texas where he realized there was nothing as enjoyable and rewarding as working with children. So, they headed back to UCLA once again to complete 2 years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Manwaring is excited to be a part of a wonderful dental office and community!
In his personal time, Dr. Manwaring enjoys playing percussion for the Magic Valley Symphony, reading great books, and loves preparing food almost as much as eating it. He also looks forward to any time spent in the great outdoors, especially when it is with his family.
Dr. Manwaring is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the OKU Dental Honor Society, and he is currently a Candidate for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
